(Mind you this train of thought while on a bathroom break)

Today I was thinking about my roommate. His name is Paul. I was thinking about how he talked about how the world should be. He spat out the almost generic conservative views. He is totally in love with the ideals of capitalism with the exception being artists. He says they should get a real job so they can be productive members of society. Come to think of it I am sure I have heard something close to that from  another conservative I know, any case. I  was thinking about how flipped around he is when it comes do the dealings of our house hold, which his stances on that are highly social view points. An example of this would be even our other roommate(Sara) does not make any dirty dishes she should still wash all the dishes according to his views for she should contribute more to the house despite being the most eco-friendly of us all.

I wondered to myself why don't I understand him? Does he realize what he does and says? I thought on this subject for a while.. so long in fact I slipped in to the state where you think you are being highly philosophical but in reality you  are just a dumb ass. anyways It went something like this...

Why can't I understand him?

Does he do this because it is good?

or just good for him?

Where is the line of good anyways?

Why does he try to be one thing and the opposite at the same time?

Its TV and stories isn't it? Where the male hero fights to save his girl and ends up saving the world? He wants to be manly like that I think...

I hate those shows.

Do I? I watch them anyways. I enjoy watching them, why do I enjoy watching them?

I can't understand him.

I don't think humans can understand our selves.

Why do we think that we should communicate with aliens if we can't even communicative with our selves.

I don't want to be like everyone else. I want to understand.

If you want to understand the universe you should do your calculus 2 homework..

but every one enjoys watching shows with a hero and a good end.

so the fallowing in a conversation I was having on a friends photo of two suspects for assault. It can be a bit of a long read, sorry bout that. Also I try to more or less hide some of my more "extreme" political views as well as the fact I am an atheist from those on my facebook to preserve my relationship with my family, so I tried to be less harsh than I could have been here.

Friend of a friend: They look like Obama supporters.

I.S.: What makes them seem like Obama supporters to you?

Friend of a friend:They are criminals like he is...

I.S.: What makes Obama a criminal? Also just because you are of a same demographic as some one does not mean you support them. Our founding fathers were criminals but that does not mean every criminal supports George Washington.

Friend of a friend: Demographic??? Do you know the meaning of the word? These folks have broken the law. Obama has broken the laws of the nation over and over again. He should be tried,convicted,and hanged for treasonous acts against America and her people. Our founding fathers were not criminals. I defy you to prove different. Just because they came here and founded America doesn't make them criminals. It makes them revolutionaries,and true leaders. It also made them what they were intended to be. Historical figures to be held in reverence.

I.S.: demographic :"A portion of a population, especially considered as consumers." Our founding fathers were in fact Criminals against the British nation when the Americas were still the colonies trying to make their own country. I am not debating what they did was right or wrong, that is not the definition of a criminal, but it is to break laws set in place that makes a person a criminal. Which laws has Obama broken?(just wondering)

Friend of a friend: Glad you could google demographic. Which laws?? Ok. Here goes. He took taxpayer money and bailed out the auto industry. That's against the law,and not governments' place to do. If an industry has financial trouble the file bankruptcy and work through it like American Airlines has done. GM and Chrysler should have done the same,but,Obama needed votes so he bailed 'em out and gave controlling interest in both to the unions. He broke the law with Obamacare tax,and by doing so,he is requiring citizens to buy a product from a private company that they don't have any choice in. You can either do it or pay a fine if at least 1750 dollars for non compliance. That's against the Constitution and levies thye largest tax hike on the American middle class in history. On top of all that,..he's not a citizen and has obtained high political office by means of trickery or decption. That's treason,..a hanging offense. Whatever Britians laws were at the time made no difference. They came here and it was all a moot point.

I.S.: I was just showing you that I knew what the word meant, lol. Well we can also blame congress to for that, but I am not sure about the federal money policies, every thing I read about it tends to be very vague. Though with GM I think they could have done it a different way like contracting them to make government cars or something of the sort. Ehh, again the health care thing could have been done differently, I think if you make a health care law it should work like how we pay for school taxes. Not every one goes to school at the moment but at some point in time you will or have had to use it, then at the same time you have home schooling. Which they could have made it where you can get out of having insurance by proving that you can afford to pay for it in case something goes wrong or sign a DNR. Wasn't Obama born in hawaii? The point of bring up the founding fathers was to point out they too were criminals under the laws that they had and they as well should have been hanged for treason, but just because they are criminals does not mean they support other criminals. Just as the people in the picture, they might be criminals but that does not mean they support Obama. Now if they were wearing something that says "I vote Obama" or something of the sort this would be a whole different story.

I.S.: So you have to be conservative to vote republican?

I.S.: Eather way they show no sign of political sides what so ever, at the most they seem to be anarchist as they are breaking law.

Friend of a friend: No,..you dont have to but re-read my original statement. I said "look like". meanng a couple of things. They are criminals,just like Obama,as I have already stated. The other thing is that 91% of blacks,especially those who are unemployed as these folks probably are ,are Odumbo supporters.

Friend of a friend: Read the constitution and then get vack to me as to why the Obamacare is against it. Obama wasn't born in Hawaii. Go see the movie 2016. It will open your eyes as to his agenda for the country,...some of it is in his own words and voice. I'm guess ing that you are an Obama supporter. Is that correct?

Friend of a friend: Obama hates America. That's a fact. People like these also have nop respect for the country or they wouldn't do such things. Just more criminal element that should be removed from society for the longest time the law allows.

I.S.: ah ok, so your personal thoughts are that black unemployed criminals most likely equals Obama supporters. I have read the constitution and I like the idea that we as a country would support the health of the country but I don't like Obama

I.S.:Documentaries are movies, like how a squire is a rectangle but not all rectangles are squires. On that note have you ever watch zeitgeist? I agree that Obama was disappointing, though I think he was under qualified. Reagan also served two terms while Obama has only one so far. I don't think anyone running this time around should be elected, including Obama but I don't think the man deserves death ether. I like the idea of not killing people, lol.

Friend of a friend: So you are a pacifist. Sorry to hear that. A documentary,while being filmed,is based on fact,not fiction, Big difference. It's "square"...not squire. A Squire was an English Nobleman from a few centuries back. Again,..re-read my post about Reagan. It was a comparison. At 4 years in his Presidency,..Reagans economy was creating 400 thousand jobs a month,after he inherited a failing economy from Democrat Carter. Carter left 21% interest rates,17% inflation rates,and hostages in Iran from the embassy there. Reagan told Iran that if they weren't released when he took office,30 minutes later,he would bomb Iran into oblivion. The minute he was sworm in,..they were on a plan and free. That's leadership. Obama would have apologized and kissed Iran's ass. It's the difference between a leader,and a coward who hates the country,while loving Muslim terrorists.

I.S.: Not a pacifist, I just think killing something is a stupid way of dealing with a problem and a ineffective way of using resources besides I do recall one of the 10 commandments not to kill. You can make a factual movie, the discovery channel does it all the time. Stupid spell check! lol I thought you were just referring to Obama having the 4 years, was this Regan's first 4 years or second? Eh, I think a good leader does was is best for all sides if it can happen . I wonder what I ran wanted to gain from the hostages, money, power, security? We don't apologize for being Americans and attaining the power status we have enjoyed for decades. I.S.: No, we would apologize as a sign of humbleness and willing to work together, even if we did no wrong someone found fault with us, we should be willing to work together to fix grievances between people. The bible also speaks out against being to prideful as well. I understand the idea of America, this was meant to be a land of opportunity, a melting pot, a wondrous place set forth by those who fought for it, some place where everyone is giving a chance at the old american dream. I understand and it angers me. We teach kids that America is a place where everyone is equal and where the broken come to be free of tyrants. We teach kids one thing and do another. For socialism, the idea of it is good, every one is equal, but it is a faulty system no matter how you implement it, someone will always try to be the conqueror and the bully. Its interesting you talk about being prideful of your country yet your country elects some one you hate and make fun of. I might not like his policies but I will defend his right to live, as will I defend anyone's rights to live. Besides if you hate him so much, you should wish for him to live, make him wish for death and deny his wish. Anyways, America was not made to be the world police, the founding fathers actually warned us to stay out of worldly affairs but if we must be apart of them why not peaceful ones if any? I don't know maybe I am to much of an idealist, I fell in love with the idea of America, the land of the free and the land of opportunity.We killed off most of the natives, imprisoned Japanese Americans, let the red scare happen, and let the terrorist win.

Your statement "the idea of socialism is a good one" tells me that you don't understand America at all. In America,we dont live as a collective. We live as individuals ,..all striving to take our God given talents,and make the best of them that we can,while taking care of our own business and paying our own way. Your collective tilted mentality is better suited for the USSR of about 50 years ago,..or more to the point, France of nowadays. France has one of the highest tax rates in the world and also one of the highest unemployment rates in the world. About 30% of the French are paying the tab for all of them. That's what Obama wants for America. Tax the rich into oblivion and make everyone a ward of the government. I refuse to belong to any government. I belong to God,and no one else. We dont apologize as Americans I.S. We ARE the world's police,whether you like it or not. That's just the way it shakes out.

Friend of a friend: America IS the land of opportunity. Anyone can be whatever they want ,within the limits of the law and how hard they strive to attain their dream. Apologizing for being Americans isn't what we do. Its a sign of weakness and vulnerability and gives terrorists the idea that they can attack us and kill us. There are many more reason we don't apologize for being Americans. One of the top ones is that whenever another country is in trouble,..they come to us. Thats where the police thing comes in as well. We have a history of coming to the aid of other countries and when Obama goes to terrorist countries and bows down to Muslim leaders and apologizes for Americans simply being who we are,,,,that goes against the grain of what he swore to do when inaugurated.

Should tell you that I understand that socialism is impractical but really has nothing to do with me understanding what America is and how it works. The fact I don't have a extremely negativity view of a specific type of government has nothing to do with if I know what a totally different system is and how it works. Thoughts and personal opionons have nothing to do with my level of knowledge. Again you belong to God but you wish death upon someone, there are better ways of removing the threat than murder.Terrorists don't care if you are dead or not, they want to manipulate with fear and terror, most notably by killing people but if they just wanted us dead we would be by now, you can buy uranium from amazon even! I think its like 60 bucks for a can of low dosage uranium. I understand we are currently the worlds police but we were not meant to be, the US was not made for that. When the president is inaugurated he swears to protect his country, some times the best way to do that is not to retaliate and turn the other cheek and bury the hatchet even if you have to be the first person to start it. Then you can start from there and work on retribution after both parties are ready to compromise. Its not to say "I am sorry I am an american and I am better than you" but rather I am sorry you feel that why lets work it out.
